One Good Wag Deserves Another

One of my all-time favorite stories happened last spring. A couple of our friends went out of town, and asked if we would watch their two little puppies while they were away. The twins absolutely fell in love with the dogs Daphne and Shaggy. For a couple of weeks following our puppy-sitting adventure, they would pretend to be the dogs. Early one morning, Aiden crawled into bed with me and began to "wag" his bum. Affectionately I patted his bottom and said, "Shaggy, you have no tail!" Without missing a beat, Aiden replied, "Yes I do, it's on backwards!"
