Simple Honesty

A couple of evenings ago, I was going to meet some girlfriends for dinner. Cameron (Papa) was excited to spend the evening with the kids. He was busy in the kitchen making dinner, with Aiden by his side. Anyone who's ever eaten Cameron's cooking knows it's hit or miss. It's either really good, or really bad. My personal favorite was his attempt at blueberry and maple salmon! Needless to say, we actually had to call out for Chinese that night! As he stirred a pot, Papa called Aiden over, telling him he got to be the guinea pig. Aiden looked at him, and softly said, "No Daddy, I just want to be a person."
